IOUF Supports Iba Blah’s Honey Blossom Project
beesThe brilliant physicist Albert Einstein once said: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left."
No more bees mean no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man. According to new research published in the journal Science, changing temperature and weather conditions due to climate change has restricted the area where bees can survive. On the top of this, heavy use of pesticides, disease and habitat loss are other bad news for bees.

Intercultural Open University Foundation/Universidad Azteca/Central University of Nicaragua Consortium: A Global Trend
iouf_consortiumA growing number of learners feel that it is essential to have a graduate degree for their career success. However, not many are fortunate enough to afford graduate-level education. For those who can afford the hefty educational fees, deciding which programs are best for their career and which institution to seek admission to can be daunting at best.

Dr. Teresa Ngigi, Change Agent for the People of Sierra Leone
SierraLeoneOften, we get to know about the hardships faced by the people in Africa through newspapers and television, and we wonder: How can we help them? How can we make their lives a little better than yesterday? But most of us do not find enough time or courage to do anything about it. Intercultural Open University Foundation/Universidad Azteca/Central University of Nicaragua alumnus Teresa Ngigi PhD is not one of them. She is one of the few people who has taken it upon herself to positively change the lives of children in Africa. She is currently working in Sierra Leone as the lead psychologist in crisis management.

Prof. dr. Hakemulder with students

In whatever you do, you should be careful about the ending and the beginning. What is done well inevitably turns out well, and what starts well finishes well. If you are as careful of the end as of the beginning, then there will be no failure.
