Dr. Hurlong discusses future environmental projects in Spain and Portugal
photonews10-16October, 2016 - Dr. Sandra Hurlong, President of Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF), visited with colleagues in Spain and Portugal to discuss future environmental projects and enrollment in the Dual Degree Doctoral Programs in consortium with Universidad Azteca and Central University of Nicaragua.
IOUF supports the maintaining of public lands
Dolly Sods Wilderness, West Virginia, August 2016— IOUF President, Dr. Sandra Hurlong and Mike Curtis, Director of Social Responsibility, toured Dolly Sods Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest that is part of the National Wilderness Preservation System located in Grant, Randolph, and Tucker Counties, West Virginia. They were there to make a public statement for government agencies to continue maintaining public lands.
Dr. Toothman Awarded Professor Emeritus and Excellence in Teaching
emeritusMay 6, 2016—Dr. John M. Toothman, IOUF Board of Governors, was bestowed the rank and title of Professor Emeritus of Psychology from Goldey-Beacom College (GBC). Dr. Toothman was the first professor to ever receive such an honor from GBC.  In addition, he received his second Excellence in Teaching Award.  Dr. Gary Wirt, President of GBC noted Dr. Toothman’s distinguished academic career and his remarkable dedication and intellectual commitment to his students spanning his 53 years in higher education.
In attendance was his wife, Roxanne K. Toothman, Special Assistant to the President of IOUF, and his daughter, Dr. Lisa Albright, GBC Psychology Faculty.
Weinholds Join IOUF Staff and Faculty
weinholdJune 6, 2016--Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF) is proud to announce that Dr. Barry Weinhold and Dr. Janae Weinhold, Developmental Psychologists and Mental Health Professionals, have joined IOUF to continue development of the partnership dual degree program with the Universidad Azteca (UA) and Universidad Central de Nicaragua (UCN).

arden3Arden, Delaware, April 15, 2016—IOUF President Dr. Sandra Hurlong, Board of Governors member, Dr. John M. Toothman, Anton Pieters, Registrar and Treasurer, and Roxanne K. Toothman, Special Assistant to the President met in the Arden, Delaware (USA) office to officially develop future programs for IOUF involvement.  The partnership with Universidad Azteca and Central University of Nicaragua has continued to provide IOUF learners with accredited graduate dual degrees.
