Earth Day was celebrated at Brandywine Park, Wilmington, Delaware by young children releasing thousands of ladybugs because they feed on insects that are harmful to gardens, trees, and shrubs. This teaches children a valuable lesson on the importance of taking care of the planet and gives them the opportunity to express their support with colorful outfits.
Assisting the children were Dr. Lisa Albright, Mrs. Delaware USA, Mike Purzycki, Mayor of Wilmington, local community leaders, and parents. Dr. Lisa Albright is a Distinguished Graduate of IOU Foundation with a Dual Doctorate in Psychology from consortium partners the Universidad Central de Nicaragua and the Universidad Azteca.
