On November 14, 2013, Rudi Jansma, PhD was formally awarded his doctorate degree in Social Science from Universidad Central de Nicaragua by Dr. Gulab Kothari, International Advisor for Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF).  Dr. Jansma is a noted scholar in consciousness and religion.  He lectures internationally and has numerous publications on Jainism, Ecology, and Evolution.  In addition, Dr. Jansma is a member of the Board of Governors and a Resource Scholar for IOUF.
