Intercultural Open University Foundation and its consortium partners Universidad Azteca and Universidad Central de Nicaragua are pleased to offer financial support for the work AERO do in alternative education. AERO promotes innovative approaches to education in these times of turmoil caused by the Covid-19 virus.
The IOU Foundation came into existence as a charitable education foundation in 1981. The basic mission was to scientifically train and prepare social change agents to help improve the health of communities worldwide. The volunteer Board of Governors under the direction of our President, Dr. Sandra Hurlong, along with our distinguished Faculty, Resource Scholars, and Staff have accumulated years of experience in the context of alternative social change education. Our learners join with the faculty as shared researchers in the context of alternative education.
The IOU Foundation doctorate degrees are accredited through the dual degree consortium with the Universidad Azteca and Universidad Central de Nicaragua.
