On May 19, 2012, Dr. John M. Toothman, Board of Governors for Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF) and Roxanne K. Toothman, Assistant to the President, IOUF, were invited guests at The President of the United Arab Emirates Cup, a special event race that was held on the same day as the Preakness in Baltimore, Maryland (USA). 

This was the first Arabian race to be held on Preakness Day, the second leg of the Triple Crown.  Dr. Toothman is a member of the Arabian Jockey Club and serves on the Graded Stakes Race Committee.
